Reviews
I have never been inside but go through the drive thru often when I want home cooked oxtail, country cooking, or even a large salad.
American Ranch House is my Sunday sanctuary! Their oxtail is a culinary masterpiece that has become a delightful weekend tradition. The staff radiates warmth and friendliness, ensuring every dining experience feels special and personalized. The diverse menu is consistently delicious, leaving you eagerly anticipating your next visit!
Service was quick. Dish 1 (Liver w/ Broccoli, Cheese and rice, and Squash) The liver was everything I expected (very good), the broccoli dish wish a little salty and the squash was really good. Dish 2 (Spaghetti, Sweet Potato, Broccoli, Cheese and rice) Nothing special or standout about the spaghetti. Noodles were a little too soft. Dish 3 (Baked 1/4 Chicken, Sweet Potato, Mac-n-cheese) Sweet potatoes were not quite tender. The taste was seasoned good. The chicken had good flavor to it. It was on the borderline of being dry. All in all, the food was tasty and I would recommend. My biggest negative is the plasticware was very flimsy and hard to maneuver with dishes that we had. It kept bending and no sturdiness to it. Not nitpicking, just giving a detailed review.
This place has really awesome food. From home cooked soul food plus items such as wings burgers and a lot more. I haven't had anything there that wasn't very good. Probably the best burger in the area or close to it at least. The wings are great as well but the real reason to come here is for the home cooking. They have a really vast selection of daily items that rotate depending on the day of the week. They also stay open late however the soul food menu stops around 9 if I'm not mistaken then it's short order items until 11. It's not a fancy place but if you want great food with generous portions you should stop by. I will be back as soon as I get the chance.
went for Sunday breakfast (early) and didn't have a wait. had amazing food and service. highly recommend the freshly squeezed orange juice!
